By booking MOSKUSGUIDEN you agree to accept all these terms and conditions.

Where a group makes a booking, all participants within the group agree to accept these terms and conditions.

When you book, you will receive a written confirmation that confirms your reservation. When you receive the confirmation, please check the details carefully and inform us immediately if anything is incorrect. You are responsible for keeping us informed of any changes in contact information and of conditions that may affect your participation (physical fitness, illness or level of experience).

Participants must ensure they are in a suitable health condition to participate the chosen workshop or tour. If you are unsure, please contact us.

Any medical condition, medication being taken and/or allergies that may affect your health or participation must be notified to MOSKUSGUIDEN in writing prior to the workshop or tour.

MOSKUSGUIDEN try to make each and every trip a success for our clients. However, at times, events beyond our control make that impossible. Accordingly, there may at times be a situation arising which makes it necessary for us to cancel or modify a tour. If so, we will contact you and do our best to find an alternative.

If a workshop or tour requires minimum numbers to proceed, this will be publicized and advertised in the description of the trip. MOSKUSGUIDEN reserve the right to cancel the trip if these minimum numbers are not met. The participants will be provided with an alternative if this occurs. 

MOSKUSGUIDEN has the right to add up to 2 guests over maximum to a tour or workshop. This is sometimes needed if a couple want to attend or some close friends.

Photography tours and Workshops will proceed in all weather conditions, unless in extreme and unsafe weather conditions. We decide the safety, and if the event will be cancelled. This decision will be notified by EMAIL or SMS. Unless a cancellation notification is sent out, the tour or workshop will be proceeding.

All events are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. 

We have a zero-tolerance approach to any behavior that puts guest and guides safety in danger or creates an unsafe work environment. The musk oxen are wild animals. MOSKUSGUIDEN have license to guide, so we know how to read the animals. You have to listen to the information that are given during the hike.

Should an injury occur where the guest himself is to blame for the injury, MOSKUSGUIDEN is not responsible. Our guides provide clear guidelines for behavior during the workshop or tour. We are therefore not responsible for actions that are contrary to this and that may cause a person injury.

MOSKUSGUIDEN is not responsible for any penalties that may arise from breach of our guidelines. A penalty may arise if guests does not behave in front of the animals. By booking a workshop or tour with us, the guest accepts the terms of our guidelines or booking conditions.

The traveler are required to respect the rules that apply to the trip (or tour) and at the destination. To behave so that fellow travelers or others are not disturbed. If the traveler significantly violates this, the organizer can cancel the agreement without the traveler being entitled to compensation or a refund.

Birds. By joining our tours you agree that you do not share GPS-positions to any of our locations. You do not go back to the spots by yourself or with friends. We spent years to built up trust and it just take minutes to destroy it.

Musk ox. You agree that you do not tell on social media or other channels where we hiked to find the musk oxen.

Kerkini. MOSKUSGUIDEN has permit from landowners and rangers to move around freely to different locations. You are not allowed to go back alone or with friends. Then you need to contact the local guides first.

Insurance. MOSKUSGUIDEN accepts no liability or obligation in the event of illness, injury, death or loss or damage to personal property. Travel and Medical insurance is mandatory for all of MOSKUSGUIDEN tours and workshops. It is the responsibility of the participant to purchase. We recommend that you have the appropriate insurance for our photography tours. Health Insurance, Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance, Emergency Medical Expense Coverage, Trip Cancellation Insurance, Life Insurance, Baggage Loss and Delay Reimbursement and Equipment Insurance.

Payment. All bookings are binding. Bookings done “last minute”, are non refundable. Meaning bookings done within 14 days prior to the tour or workshop.

Deposits. Each tour or workshop requires a deposit up front. The amount depends on the price of the upcoming tour. You will be informed before your booking is confirmed what the deposit are, and when you need to pay the rest of the amount for your event. After deposit payment you will receive a confirmation e-mail with further information about your upcoming event. Single tours will be charged with the full amount up front.

You can not claim a refund related to the weather conditions. We always inform our guests to dress up, depending on the season. If you have lack of gear, please contact us.

The exchange rates at the time the trip is planned and advertised and the trip prices are said, may be subject to adjustment in the event of any changes affecting price.

Payments are done by e-mail. MOSKUSGUIDEN will send you an invoice with all the information you need to pay us.

MOSKUSGUIDEN has the right to cancel the bookings in case the payment has not been received within the agreed terms. The deposit will not be refunded. We will always try to contact you by e-mail or SMS before cancelling your booking. 

Private Policies. MOSKUSGUIDEN respect your privacy. Your personal information will be used only for the correspondence with you and for the needs of our tours and workshops. We do not share your personal information.

In the event of any cancellation made by MOSKUSGUIDEN, for whatever reason, the fees will be refunded in full. Deposits as well.
