Other species of birds and mammals we might be lucky and see during our winter tours.

Ptarmigans are well adapted to cold environments and can be found in the Arctic and alpine regions. They have thick feathers that help them blend into the snowy landscapes. During winter their feathers turn white to camouflage with the snow. 

The stoats, also known as short-tailed weasels, are known for their agility and hunting skills.

The wild reindeers of Dovrefjell. It is not allowed to guide on the wild reindeers. We might be lucky and observe and photograph them from a distance, but the chances are low.
